Write In The Nick Of Time Podcast | Episode 1

TV-14•2026•1h 9m•Music · Talk Show · Hip-Hop

I had the chance to sit down with one of the GOATs of the Kansas City music scene—shoutout to Devi for pulling up. We got into everything from life in prison to the highs and lows of pursuing a music career. His debut album Natural Born F**k Up drops May 7, and the title speaks for itself. Trust me, we’re in for a treat—tap in. I’ve been around the Kansas City music scene for a long time, and one name that always comes up is DEVI. I’ve always respected how witty he is with his music. He’s one of those artists who can really rap, but never forces it—everything feels natural. The way he puts words together keeps you locked in from start to finish. He’s worked with a lot of the greats in the city, but his sound still stands out on its own. From street stories to the versatility in his delivery, DEVI is truly a gem to Kansas City. Big shoutout to Court Dawg for the opportunity to have our podcast featured on the OG Network—this is a huge look for Kansas City. And much love to my production team, Dominique Kuykendall and Darren Coby. I couldn’t do this without the guys.
