The Fight That Never Ends
Unlikely people come together in hopes of bettering the community of South Central, LA. Based on the lived experiences of Leon Watkins, John “Jay” Hunter III, and Joanne Lee Beck comes a story about the strength in community and resilience. Leon, a passionate man with a big voice and no audience, realizes he needs the skillset of the young, lonely, and naive Joanne. Joanne needs guidance, and Jay, aka ‘Joker’ to the streets, just needs to dodge bullets long enough to be able to speak. Through perseverance, hardship, and trust, these unlikely people create communal history and find true love against all odds.
